This is an artistically designed, cozy and romantic space offering a quiet, private get-away.

Mood and ambience depend upon the season. Each season has its own particular benefits.

In Early Spring, the trees are still bare and light from the West fills the patio. The late afternoon sun enters the room through the large bathroom windows. The call of spring peepers is constant.

By Mid-Spring and Early Summer, trees bushes and flowers are in full bloom. On clear days the patio is sun drenched. Sounds of summer insects fill the air and at night, fireflies light the sky.

In Mid- Summer and Early Fall the days are long hot and lazy. Morning fog and rain are typical. The loud call of the cicadas lasts through September, leaves turn color and fall and the air becomes cooler, an excellent time for a wood fire, pleasing music and a warm bath.

For Winter everything is cold and quiet. Sometimes trees are covered with snow but, mainly, winter here is a season of light, especially in the late afternoon as the setting sun can be seen through the trees.

Fall and winter are also the time to see the stars as the hazy skies of Spring and Summer are gone.

The lunazeno patio has the least light pollution so the sky can be quite dark with many stars. A higher, non-private deck that one is welcome to use offers a fine view of eastern mountain ranges and adjoining pastures.

Luna's Culinary Experience
I grew up in Vietnam while my mother
owned and operated a renowned
restaurant. Yet I only cook seriously at mid
20 when I left Vietnam and spent 10 years
in Northern Europe and Africa. My job
entailed a lot of entertainment when I
cooked for 15 or 50 persons I spent other
20 years in Rome Italy where I was offered
the chance to cook and manage anIndonesian restaurant. During my years
of service with the US Embassy , I taught
cooking Lasagna & Ravioli to the American
Expats. In 2002 I opened “At Luna's” a
Vietnamese restaurant in Asheville which I
later closed preferring to cater to smaller
groups, providing gourmet food with care.
