Does red dust come out of clothes?
i am going away tomorrow to fitzroy crossing (Western Australia) and there is lots of red dust.. i am also camping so im wondering if the red dust will come out of my clothes..
because will my good clothes get ruined?
doesnt white king bleach your clothes though?
i understand white as it cant be bleached any whiter but what about colours?
I live in an inland area of Australia with red soil. It can stain your clothes if you just throw them into the washing machine without treating them. Anywhere the soil has left a mark eg knees of pants etc, should be sprayed with a good pre wash such as White King for colours in the spray bottle (leave to soak for 5 min or so), and then washed with a good soap powder such as Drive. If you throw them straight into the wash with soap powder the heavily marked areas will only have half the red soil stain removed and this is then nearly impossible to remove. I wear white all the time and this works well for me.
