Luna ( Hang Thi Nguyen )was born in Saigon, Vietnam and emigrated to Italy where she lived for 30 years. In Rome, she developed and successfully operated several restaurants in which classic Italian, classic Vietnamese and her special fusion of European and Asian foods were served.

In Vietnamese, the name Hang means "Moon" . Because the Italians had difficulty pronouncing her name she assumed the Italian name for moon...hence...Luna

In 2000 following her marriage to Zeno she resettled in the United States in Asheville NC . For a brief period in 2003 she opened and ran a Vietnamese fusion Restaurant called At Luna's. The restaurant was a success but due to health reasons she was forced to sell.

Luna has always dreamed of having a bed and breakfast, vacation rental and is looking forward to having you as a guest.

Zeno ( Steve DeBerry ) was born and raised in Queens, New York. He always dreamed of being in the country and living as natural a life as possible. In 1992 he relocated to Asheville, NC and began pursuing his dream. In 1998, after being reunited with Luna via the Internet, his dream began to take tangible form.

In 1995, Zeno purchased 4.5 hilly acres with a large log cabin in Leicester, a n agricultural farming area about 13 miles north-west of Asheville. At first he developed a small pond and flower Garden, which, after Luna's arrival led to vegetable gardens, chickens and ducks.

Construction on the lower apartment began in late 2002 and was finished the summer of 2003. Zeno was involved in all stages of construction and design. He describes the place as a work in progress. His idea was to create a unique and tranquil space that could be used as a retreat from everyday life. He designed the space as a romantic sanctuary best suited for 2 people comfortable in each others company.

The couple were both inspired by their earlier travels where they found themselves off the beaten track, finding respite at some unique and personable family lodgings.
